Due to our continued growth and success we have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to work onsite at our customer’s site on Brackmills, Northampton. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and hands on individual who is able to work on their own initiative alongside being part of a bigger team.

Core Working Hours Monday – Friday 08.30 - 17.30
•The primary tasks of the Operations Manager (and their team) will be:
•Planning and consolidating a variety of loads in the most efficient way possible.
•Providing the Customer with regular contact and reports regarding delivery performance.
•Ensuring that Knights of Old consistently meet the customer’s key performance indicators.
•Offering the highest level of service to our customers, both internal and external.
•Managing and liaising with drivers in order to achieve all targets, to include daily briefing and debriefing.
•Continuous improvement through auditing and performance management.
•Ensuring that all Quality, Health and Safety and Compliance standards are adhered to at all times.
•Demonstrable experience of both planning and driver management.
•Comprehensive knowledge of the transport and logistics sector.
•Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
•Excellent interpersonal skills and the commercial drive to make a success of this role.
•Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
•CPC holder preferred.
