The groups reputation of running a safe and efficient fleet is built upon its principles

Following a recent audit, the Knights of Old group has achieved the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Bronze standard at its Derbyshire operating centre.

FORS encourages operators to more closely examine their operations, identify areas of strength and areas for continued development.

Speaking on behalf of Knights of Old Group, Head Of Compliance & Fleet Services Tony Quenet said: "Ensuring FORS best practice standards and legal compliance is vital to the Knights of Old Group health and safety commitment. Being FORS compliant has become part of the fabric of our daily operation, our reputation of running a safe and fuel-efficient fleet is built upon its principles.”

FORS was initially championed at Head Office, Kettering, Northamptonshire 24:01:2013. O Licence responsibilities covered most of what FORS Bronze required from the group for the application. FORS procedures helped the Group drive scalable compliance and best practice standards, which could then be adopted across all operating centres. The Group now have 3 FORS operating centres, FORS Bronze in Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, FORS Silver in Bedfordshire.
