  • Understand the Corporate Manslaughter Legislation
  • Understand the impact that this legislation has on the operation
  • Understand the importance of managing risk in the workplace
  • Understand how to identify potential risk and the correct reporting mechanisms
  • Understand the Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) process
     
    MODULE LEARNING OUTCOMES: the learner will be better able to
    • Be able to demonstrate the employers and employees roles and responsibilities under the HASAW Act 1974
    • What is the Corporate Manslaughter legislation and how it influences our decision making process
    • Understand and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Risk Analysis process
    • To demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the value of a risk assessment. It is essential that the learner can identify where a RA is located and how to interpret it and be able to explain its content to another person
    • The learner must be able to report where a risk assessment requires review, updating or renewal
    • The learner will be able to inform staff of the GWP, their location and purpose and will be able to manage a team using a GWP
    • Recognizing when training is required, who can deliver it and what the recording mechanisms are
