MODULE CONTENT
  • The knowledge skills and approaches needed to be effective in a management role
  • How and when to delegate tasks that actually get done and  done well
  • The roles and responsibilities (Statutory and Non – Statutory) of a manager
  • Employment Law overview including Disciplinary and Grievance, Discrimination, Working Time, and Contracts of Employment
  • Knowledge of the management process in action – ‘ Measure, Monitor, Review and Respond’
  • One size doesn’t fit all – different management styles and how to adapt to deal with particularly difficult situations
  • Maximising efficiency, performance and staff potential through improved communication
